Starting your very own Christian home base business can be a difficult task. There are so many things to consider that at times it can be really overwhelming. Should you start a cleaning company, daycare, consulting firm, accounting firm, or mentoring club.
Even with the internet there are so many choices out there from internet marketing, to direct sales/network marketing, to forex trading, internet coaching, and more. Here are a few suggestions that will help you to choose the best Christian home business.
Seek God first: Since he is creator he knows what your purpose is. A lot of times as Christians we do things that God never intended for us to do. We get frustrated and wonder why things are not working right and try to blame him. By us finding out direction from him first, that avoids the headache of doing the wrong thing.
Identify your areas of passion and gifts: Usually where you are gifted at is where your purpose is. If you are gifted in teaching and playing the piano you don't want to start a plumbing business. You may be good at building relationships and inspiring people to do what you do. Your best option may be in the direct sales network marketing industry.
Now these are just examples but hopefully they are can give you some ideas. I can tell you this, if you don't use your gifts you will not be fulfilling your God given purpose. Your whole purpose in life is to please him.
Great leaders use their gifts and talents to serve the masses. So look for an environment that can help you to nourish and grow your gifts and abilities.
Don't Box In God: Do not try to put God in a box. He will not fit. Please understand what I am saying here. God may direct you to work with someone that is not a Christian business owner but there values are the same as yours.
Quite a few Christians miss out on an assignment from God in the homebased business industry because everything didn't look perfect. What I mean by that is you may see a company that you like and want to partner with. The owners share the same moral values as you but because they may not be a Christian or may be a bit cocky you don't think it is for you.
Joseph, the 3 Hebrew boys, and Daniel are great examples of individuals who worked with kings that didn't share the same beliefs as them. But yet they didn't grumble or complain. They adapted to their surroundings and God still prospered them.
Don't Limit Yourself: You may understanding seeking God, using your gifts and talents, and actually not boxing God in. But a lot of Christians limit themselves and end up choosing the wrong Christian home base business. Great leaders stretch themselves beyond their comfort zones. As a Christian it is so important to know that you are able to do abundantly above what you can think because of the Power that is at work in you.
So don't you dare but a barrier on your thinking or capability. That very business that you turn down because you feel it is to hard may be the very business that changes your family financial destiny.
It is important to have balance when making a big decision like this. Applying all four principles will help you to choose the best Christian home business.
