HELP THE LESS FORTUNATE

There are multiple benefits for helping the less fortunate in society. 

These include:

1. God considers your help a loan to Him and He will pay you back what you have given the needy for He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. (Proverbs 19:17)

2. God will help you when you are in trouble (whether financial trouble or not) for Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. (Psalm 41:1)

3. God will bless you (possibly with financial and other blessings) on earth for He shall be blessed upon the earth (Psalm 41:2)

4. God will not let your enemies (whether or not financial {e.g. unreasonable creditors and elusive debtors}) have their way with you for Thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. (Psalm 41:2)

5. God will help you heal faster (thereby help you financially by reducing your medical bills) for The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. (Psalm 41:2)  

Therefore, volunteer your time, expend your energy and donate your money to help the needy in your society.

Even if you are in the middle of a financial crisis, create time to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and visit prisoners (Matthew 25: 34-36) for by helping the less fortunate, you will also be helping yourself by making yourself more fortunate.

But, do your charitable deeds secretly and God who sees in secret will reward you publicly because if you do them openly to get public approval, you will not have a reward from your Father in heaven. (Matthew 6:1-4)
